Exactly one body falls outside every one of those categories — the Säumer- und Trainvereinigung Unterwalden. Säumer led pack animals over the passes; a Train association keeps alive the military tradition of pack-mule columns.
That is not a footnote about organisation, it is the market. A living nativity and ponies are, elsewhere, decoration somebody buys in. Here they are simply what the association already has. Anyone coming with children comes for that — not for the stalls.
