✨ What to expect

Aeschi Tourismus invites you to escape the hectic Advent of the cities: six pictures, each with its text, tell the Christmas story. From 5 pm lanterns and the lights at the pictures show the way — discreet guidance, as the organiser itself puts it.

There is also the Wiehnachtswäg Beizli with mulled wine, punch, sausages, cervelat and raclette, every evening also all-you-can-eat. On three evenings a helper scrapes Valais raclette straight from the wheel onto your plate: Saturday 5 December, Saturday 19 December and Sunday 27 December.

Aeschi is the quiet trail, not the spectacular one: little light, one story, a Beizli at the end. That is exactly why it suits an evening when you do not want crowds.

How we check

Every date comes from the organiser's, the municipality's or the canton's own site — never from an aggregator, never copied over from last year. Next to each source is the date we last read it.

Something missing or changed? A note below is enough; we check it at the source.
