Bure Christmas market: the only address in the whole overview – and no date to go with it
With almost every Christmas market you know the date and then look for the place. Here it is the other way round: the address is given down to the house number. The date is nowhere.

📅 Dates 2026 and evidence status
Every run below is the one the organiser published for 2026 — nothing is carried over from last year. Where nothing has been published yet, it says so.

- Grange de Noël, Bure
Jura Tourisme gives street and house number here – Route Principale 19 – instead of a square's name. For almost every other entry in this survey it says «old town» or names a square, and the sat-nav entry is guesswork.

✨ Highlights of this market
What sets this market apart from every other one is not in its run dates.
On 15 September 2026 we counted how many entries in this series publish a street address — street and house number, that is, not «old town» or «village square». The result: exactly one. Bure.
That sounds like a small thing and in December it is not. «Christmas market old town» means, to a sat-nav: aim for the village, find a parking space, follow the crowd. «Route Principale 19» means: type the address, arrive. In a village of a few hundred people that is the difference between going and searching.
⛔ And the price of staying honest: the date is missing. As of 15 September 2026, Jura Tourisme lists the market with no date and no hours and points to a programme that has to be requested. We write none — not even last year's. Anyone making the journey should call the organiser or Jura Tourisme first.
⛔ Equally not claimed: whether the market is INSIDE the barn. The event is called «Grange de Noël» and meets at the barn's address — the source says no more. Inferring a roof from a name would be guessing. In this overview one of 1 markets demonstrably stands fully under a roof, and that is the station concourse in Zurich.

🎯 Practical tips for your visit
In Bure everything is settled except the essential: you know where to the metre, and not when.
- 1Route Principale 19, 2915 BureStreet, house number, postcode — unique in this overview. The sat-nav takes you straight there rather than to the edge of the village.
- 22026 date: openAs of 15 September 2026, Jura Tourisme publishes neither a date nor hours. The page refers to a programme you have to request — one more hurdle for anyone from outside.
- 3Nobody says whether it is indoorsThe event is called «Grange de Noël». Whether the market runs inside the barn or in front of it is not published. If you are planning around rain, clarify that first.
- 4Small, and that is the pointBure is a village in the Ajoie, not a town. If you want choice, go to Porrentruy or Delémont; if you want a barn and a village, this is the place — as soon as the date is known.
🗺️ Nearby markets
The ConvivaPlus Christmas market overview lists 39 markets with a documented run; Bure is not among them, because nothing is published for 2026. The season goes from 18 November 2026 to 6 January 2027.
In the canton of Jura we record two entries and both lack a date: alongside Bure there is the Marché de Noël in Delémont's Vieille Ville. With confirmed dates, the wider French-speaking region offers the Noël des Montagnes in La Chaux-de-Fonds and, on the lake, Bô Noël in Lausanne.

Because they occupy public squares, and on the ground the square's name is enough — «old town» suffices for anyone already there. For a sat-nav it does not. In this overview exactly one entry gives street and house number.
Every verified Christmas market →Literally a Christmas barn. In Bure it is both the name of the venue and of the organiser — a farm building used for the event.
In this overview Delémont, also without a 2026 date, and further south the Noël des Montagnes in La Chaux-de-Fonds with nine confirmed days.
Christmas markets across Switzerland →The ConvivaPlus verdict
For anyone living in the Ajoie, or in the area anyway in December, Bure is a pleasant address: a small market in a barn, no crush, and you can find it to the metre. That is more than most markets in this overview give away about themselves.
It cannot be planned today. No date is published for 2026, and information behind a request-only programme is effectively out of reach for outsiders. If you are pinning December down, take the Noël des Montagnes and check back here in November.
Freshness note: Address, location and organiser come from Jura Tourisme (j3l.ch), read on 15 September 2026. ⛔ No date or opening hours for 2026 are published there; the page points to a programme that must be requested. ⛔ The source does not say whether the market is held inside the barn — so we set no «covered» value. The street-address claim is computed from the address fields in this survey.

- ◆An address is not a detail, it is half the journey: «Christmas market old town» is enough for anyone already standing there and for nobody behind a wheel. In this overview exactly one entry gives street and house number — and it is the smallest place of all. Read organiser websites for a while and the pattern shows: the bigger the market, the more it assumes you will find it anyway.
- ◆A name does not make a roof: the event is called «Grange de Noël», Christmas barn. Turning that into «covered» would be convenient and guessed — and in our dataset it would have been enough to overturn a documented claim. So we leave the field empty. With us an empty field means «not published», never «does not exist».

Of every recorded Christmas market, exactly one publishes a street with a house number: Bure, Route Principale 19. All the others name a square, an old town or a site — and leave the rest to the sat-nav.
