For families in the lower Aare valley this is a nearby market with a plain rhythm: stalls in the afternoon, dinner in the evening. The extended catering also makes it one of the few markets in the calendar where an evening visit still makes sense after the huts have shut.
For a longer journey the weekday is the sticking point. If you cannot come between Thursday and Sunday, Aarau has no market for you — and the run 3 Dec–20 Dec 2026 does not say so. If you want Aargau in one stretch, Bremgarten serves you better.
