On 7 November 2026 the city of Zurich is full of turnips: 5 districts set off on the same evening, and with 6 parades it is the busiest evening of the whole Swiss season. Höngg sends five parades from five directions to the church, Friesenberg celebrates until 10 pm after its star march. Wollishofen does the opposite, and that is exactly where its value lies.
Forty-five minutes. Together with Küttigen, that is the shortest published window in the whole calendar. And there is something that occurs nowhere else in this dataset: start and finish are the same address. The parade leaves the Entlisberg schoolhouse, takes Moosstrasse, Paradiesstrasse, Entlisbergstrasse and Lettenholzstrasse, and comes back to where the pushchairs are parked. Arrive once, leave once, no walk back through the dark — for a family with a three-year-old, that is the whole difference.
The day itself was long the only open point. In September and early October the neighbourhood association wrote only «Anfang November 2026» (early November), and we left those words as they were rather than guess an evening. The date is now on the district's page — and the parade with the gap becomes the one that asks the least of you on the busiest evening.
